Before the White Sox squared off against the Royals Saturday night, a ceremonial first pitch was thrown. The pitcher, Sister Mary Jo Sobeck, is one of the Dominican sisters who run Marian Catholic High School in Chicago Heights. Here’s her pitch.

Okay first of all, she threw a strike, which is honestly something you don’t see very often in first pitches. Second of all, where did that bounce of the bicep come from?? As soon as you saw that, you knew Sister Mary Jo was serious.
She did play softball and volleyball in college, so that explains her skills, but still, that is pretty cool. She is easily one of the coolest nuns in the game right now. Go Sister Mary Jo!
