The Los Angeles Lakers have been in the news for just about everything other than “basketball reasons” lately.
With what looks like the Lakers worst season in franchise history coming to a close, the team has to figure out a lot in the offseason including what they plan to do about the ongoing Russell-Young saga.
During the Houston Rockets vs Oklahoma City Thunder game earlier today, Mark Jackson decided to use his platform as a commentator on TNT to shed some light on the Russell situation.
Here’s what he had to say.

Jackson compared Russell’s situation with Young to an issue he had with his former assistant coach, Darren Ermen, who allegedly secretly recorded conversations during their last season together with the Golden State Warriors.
Hopefully Young doesn’t hold a grudge the same way Jackson does, because it’s going to be a long healing process if that’s the case.
