Kevin Durant is listed as questionable for Game 2 against the Trail Blazers with a strained left calf. He suffered the injury during the Warriors’ Game 1 victory. If the Warriors rest him tonight, that will give him five full days of rest before the Warriors’ next game in Portland on Saturday.
Durant has recently returned after a 19 game absence due to a strained MCL and bone bruise in that same left leg he injured on Sunday. He did not participate in the session or practice Monday and a decision on his status isn’t expected until closer to game-time.
The Warriors have also listed guard Shaun Livingston (finger) and forward Matt Barnes (sprained ankle) as questionable. Barnes missed Game 1 with the injury.
Blazers’ center Jusuf Nurkic has been ruled out with a right leg fracture and the team is not sure if he will be able to return at any point during the series.
