Washingtons Wizards Win Game 2 Battle With Atlanta Hawks, Lead Series 2-0

The Washington Wizards added to their series lead on Wednesday, winning a back-and-forth battle with the Atlanta Hawks 109-101 to take a 2-0 lead in the first round of the NBA Playoffs.

The Wizards started the fourth quarter down 78-74 when guard Bradley Beal scored 16 of his 31 points. He scored a late three pointer to put the Wizards over the edge. Guard John Wall lead the team in points (32) and assists (9). 

Hawks forward Paul Millsap and guard Dennis Schroder had impressive performances as well. Millsap finished with 27 points and 4 assists while Schroder finished with 23 points and 6 assists. They came up short, but they will get a chance to play in Atlanta in Game 3 Saturday.
