Upset Alert: Wisconsin beats Villanova, Advances to Sweet 16

Following a fairly uneventful start to March Madness, we finally got our first major upset with #1 seeded Villanova losing in the round of 32. Wisconsin, who always seems to rise to the occasion in March, will play the winner of Florida/UVA in the Sweet 16.

When the seeding was announced, many believed Wisconsin was a lot better than an eight seed, and that showed today against the reigning national champs.

The Badgers busted a ton of brackets and as an eight seed, have a legitimate chance to make their third final four in the last four years. Here’s to a great weekend of college hoops and hopefully some more exciting upsets.

What was the last school to successfully repeat as NCAA champions?
