Amari Cooper Records Only One Catch, Again

Oakland Raiders wide receiver Amari Cooper finished his first game this season without dropping a pass. Since he is the league leader in dropped passes this should be a good sign. But unfortunately, it is not as Cooper continues to be awful as he records only one catch for 8 yards in Sundays game against the Baltimore Ravens.

Games without multiple catches seem to be pretty common with Cooper this year. He also has gone three straight games with less than 10 yards.

I have absolutely no clue why Cooper keeps playing this badly, I honestly believe its hilarious. Derek Carr’s injury is a significant blow to the team, but there is still no excuse for Cooper’s slump because he wasn’t productive before the injury. If you are a fantasy football player that took Cooper high in your draft you should be ashamed of yourself.

Cooper has made the Pro Bowl the past 2 seasons but now he seems to be past his prime. He is only 23 years old. He has also recorded a total of 23 yards in his last three games. He currently ranks 104th in receptions, 129th in yards, and 121st in receiving touchdowns. But on the bright side, he leads the NFL in dropped passes and disappointment.

Amari Cooper’s yards the last 3 games: 6, 9, 8.

That is hard to fathom.
