The Giants had one of the worst weeks I’ve seen a team have in recent memory. Not only did they drop to 0-5 but they lost almost all of their wide receivers to serious injuries. The major loss is obviously Odell Beckham Jr. who the Giants have lost for the season. However, Sterling Shepard picked up an injury that will cause him to miss a few weeks and Brandon Marshall and Dwayne Harris are also done for the year.
The Giants ended their game against San Diego with only one healthy receiver, Roger Lewis Jr. This caused a couple of former star receivers to throw their names in the hat for a potential return with the Giants.
@Giants Hey big head— Chad Johnson (@ochocinco) October 8, 2017
Hey @Giants let me know if you need an interim wide receiver!— Terrell Owens (@terrellowens) October 8, 2017
Growing up, I loved watching Terrell Owens and Chad Johnson/Ochocinco play football. I’m not sure how good either of these two are right now but it would be pretty cool to see them back catching passes. At this point, what do the Giants have to lose?
