The Jacksonville Jaguars suffered a major blow in week one, as top wide receiver Allen Robinson left the game against the Houston Texans in the first quarter with an apparent left knee injury.
He was immediately ruled out and taken to the locker room for further tests.
The injury occurred on the third play of the game as Robinson caught a 17-yard pass from QB Blake Bortles to convert a third down. He was unable to walk to the Jacksonville sideline and was assisted by the Jags medical staff.
Robinson, in his three NFL seasons, has been the best WR for the Jags, catching 202 passes for 2,848 yards and 22 touchdowns. He is also entering the final year of his rookie contract, so any serious injury could impact extension talks.
