Three starting quarterbacks had to deal with various injuries after the season started last week. Aaron Rodgers, Ben Roethlisberger, and Marcus Mariota all struggled with injuries in the first game of the season.
Aaron Rodgers call his injury a “sprained knee” at practice on Wednesday after he overcame the same injury to lead the Packers to comeback win over the Chicago Bears on Sunday night. He missed practice on Wednesday ahead of a huge division matchup against the Vikings on Sunday. He says that he will be fine for the game, even though he missed practice, but the Packers will also be hoping that Davante Adams will be healthy as he missed Wednesday’s practice with a shoulder injury.
Ben Roethlisberger also missed practice on Wednesday as he was recovering from an elbow injury. Steelers fans will be watching the injury reports as the week wears on, especially with their game against the Kansas City Chiefs this weekend, but Roethlisberger did not seem concerned about it, saying that Wednesdays would most likely be a rest day for him during the season anyway.
Marcus Mariota took multiple hits as the Titans offence was severely depleted due to injuries in their week 1 loss. However, Titans fans need not be worried as he was a full participant in Wednesday’s practice ahead of another big game against division opponents, the Houston Texans.
