Real Madrid And Manchester United With A Penalty Shootout To Forget

Usually, penalty shootouts at the highest level of world soccer are much like close professional tennis matches where making your shot is holding serve and the goalie is looking for a break or two here or there. This was not the case during the International Champions Cup match between Real Madrid and Manchester United today.
There was some good goalkeeping for both teams and neither side had their regulars taking the penalties but this was still a pretty pathetic performance from two of the best clubs in the entire world. Out of the ten penalty kicks taken, only three found the back of the net and Man U won 2-1. I’m hoping most of these players don’t have to take another penalty any time soon.
