Over this past summer, midfielder Nemanja Matic was sent from Chelsea to Manchester United, and entering yesterday’s game against Crystal Palace, Matic had not yet scored a goal for his new club. However, his first goal was worth the wait.

Crystal Palace gave Manchester United all they could handle, and even held a 2-0 lead over the perennial powerhouse early in the second half. However, Manchester United would not go down easily, and would rally to score a goal in the 55th minute, and another in the 76th minute (scored by Chris Smalling and Romelu Lukaku respectively) to tie the score at 2-2. Then, of course, Matic would put the finishing touches on Manchester United’s stunning comeback with an absolutely beautiful goal in the 91st minute.
