Tottenham Hotspur and England striker Harry Kane has agreed to a six-year extension with his club side that is worth €90 million. The deal will keep him with in north London through 2024.
Tottenham, who will play in a new stadium come September, announced the signing via Twitter.
Kane has won the Premier League Golden Boot twice in 2015-16 and 2016-17 and scored 30 goals this season, second only to Mohamed Salah (32). His efforts this year solidified a third place finish for Tottenham Hotspur, their third straight top three finish.
Before heading out for the World Cup, Kane reflected on his new deal with the club and the stadium.
“I’m looking forward to the new stadium first and foremost and just to keep progressing as a club,” said Kane. “It’s been fantastic to consistently get in the Champions League so I’m really excited to have another go at that and with the Premier League and FA Cup.”
The English striker looks to make his impact in the World Cup on June 18th against Tunisia.
