“Following discussions with head coach Joachim Low, [Leroy] Sane has left the team hotel in Munich for private reasons,” stated the German FA.
After being left out of the World Cup squad, murmurs about the relationship between Joachim Low, Leroy Sane, and the German national team have become amplified. Additionally, long time German international, Toni Kroos, criticised the winger saying that “sometimes you have the feeling with Leroy’s body language that it’s all the same if we win or lose.”
Sane has also been left out of his club side and even watched the Manchester City vs. Newcastle United match from up in the stands alongside injured, Kevin De Bruyne. He last started a competitive match against Chelsea in the Community Shield.
He will look to change his fortunes when Manchester City host London club, Fulham, September 15.
