One other benefit of drafting Russell is the Lakers will now stay away from Rajon Rondo in free agency. Hallelujah!

Thanks Zach, I really appreciate it! Well I’d say Iggy’s defense has been more important than anything in the series. With that being said the biggest name, especially an MVP, tends to win Finals MVP regardless of if they deserved it.

Yeah. I don’t think, or expect, him to fill Harden’s roll. However, with him and Reggie Jackson as combo they have a better chance. The offense has just looked so stagnant at this point I think it was time for Presti to take some kind of risk. Waiters seemed to be unhappy we’ll see if he can turn things around now. If the offense doesn’t improve by the time the playoffs come around, I think they should seriously consider moving on from Scott Brooks.

I strongly agree with Austin. It’s crazy to think Derrick Rose, Joakim Noah, and (a past-his-prime) Pau Gasol are a better trio than the OKC “Big Three”. Rose has the talent of Russell Westbrook, but he hasn’t played in the past 2 seasons. Joakim Noah and Serge Ibaka are equally important to their team defensively. Most importantly, OKC has Kevin Durant. The 2nd best player in the NBA! I’d argue for #1 for the Thunder trio because they have the highest ceiling of any group. They are all athletic freaks-of-nature that can seem unstoppable when they are playing their best game, you can even ask San Antonio. Only LeBron brings that fear in Cleveland and he is moving past his physical prime and we have yet to see K-Love and Kyrie in the playoffs. I think Love will handle the experience well, but Kyrie is young and still learning how to play NBA-level defense.
