While I value your opinion, I have to disagree with you on Clemson’s schedule. The conference opponents that Clemson has played aren’t all that good. Combined, their records are 7-18 in conference play. To me that’s saying “congrats you beat the bottom of the barrel.” And while I agree that Clemson’s win over Notre Dame is a good win, they could’ve easily lost that game. I’m not saying by any means Clemson doesn’t deserve to be ranked in the top four, but when I look at their schedule I don’t see a dominant team. I see a really good team that caught a break against a talented Notre Dame team, and has also taken care of business in the conference.

Exactly! Outside of CFB the only really good rivalry, in my opinion, is Yankees-Red Sox. But even that has lost steam over the years. There’s just so much more to play for and more intensity from the athletes in these games.

This move makes sense for Golson. Transferring to Florida State, Golson will more than likely be the starter, barring some magnificent performance by current QB Sean Maguire, who was originally slated to replace Jameis Winston. Golson is no where near as talented as Winston, but for a program that’s trying to ease the pain of losing its star QB, he’s a great fix for that. For Florida State fans, let’s just hope Golson left his turnover bug up in South Bend.

Totally think you’re underestimating Cleveland a little too much. You also didn’t even mention Michael Brantley who finished third in AL MVP voting last season. There’s no way they finish fourth in the division. The only thing that could hinder the Tribe this season is the last two rotation spots. I’m betting TJ House and Danny Salazar round out the rotation and both have shown flashes of brilliance during their time in Cleveland. I actually think House is going to have a pretty good year in the rotation, Salazar is the only piece I’m skeptical about. The offense will find ways to win, just like it did last season.

This is a huge signing for Auburn, gaining one of the nation’s top remaining recruits. He will without a doubt make an immediate impact to a unit that needs to improve. This also began the recruiting war between Auburn and Florida, with the first battle going to the Tigers. Muschamp’s impact has already been huge and will only add to the hype surrounding Auburn next season.

Clark’s recruiting journey was intriguing as he once committed to Michigan. However, as soon as Brady Hoke was let go Clark reopened his recruitment. That’s when Jim Mora and UCLA made a move and swiped Clark right from the Big Blue.

Missouri saved the SEC after the conference had lost its last three bowl games. It may not have been the prettiest of victories, but then again, have any of Missouri’s wins been pretty this season? Going forward, if Missouri hopes to win a SEC title, its going to have to be with another quarterback. Maty Mauk has struggled all season and was inconsistent again today. For Minnesota, turnovers were the killing factor for them. Turning the ball over three times and not being able to come up with a big defensive stop late won’t win you many games. However, this season has been a step in the right direction for this program and it should continue to get better in the coming years.

This was a big statement game for Wisconsin. After getting absolutely crushed by Ohio State in the Big Ten championship game, not one person really gave Wisconsin a look heading into this game. But, Melvin Gordon and the Badgers bounced back and did a phenomenal job, playing with resiliency and a ton of heart to win this game. For Auburn, this game was sort of a let down. With that loss, Auburn now has lost four of its last five to end the season. Needless to say the Tigers couldn’t wait to get Will Muschamp a chance to coach this defense after it gave up 400 yards rushing against this Wisconsin team.

This game brings about some interesting things to think about for 2015. Leonard Fournette is obviously the next great SEC running back, and could wind up winning the Heisman next year. Will Everett Golson transfer after watching Malik Zaire take the majority of the snaps in this game? Brian Kelly decided to go in a different direction this game with Zaire and it paid off. The question now is, will Golson decide to try his luck somewhere else? I’m betting he will. With rumors of Braxton Miller looking to transfer, we could see two high profile QBs on the move this season, something you definitely wouldn’t expect. This was a great game for both Zaire and Fournette as they each show how bright the future each of these programs has.

This really was a sloppy game, but that made it fun to watch. I was literally sitting at the edge of my seat waiting to see who would commit the next turnover. Both teams tried to impose their will with the run, and although each were successful, the amount of turnovers committed nullified that success. This was a game that Navy needed to win after a season in which it was supposed to have nine to 10 regular season wins ended with a mediocre seven. This showed Navy’s resiliency and will to win. The team could’ve given up after its first, second, third or fourth turnover, but it didn’t and pulled it together late to win the game.
