Bazemore is improving. Turner has plateaued. Bazemore can shoot threes. Turner can not. Bazemore is a good defender. Turner is an average defender. Take a look at their stats and tell me how Turner is worth those dollars. Not saying Bazemore is either because I think most contracts this offseason were way inflated. But Turner’s contract is definitely way more than he deserves. That’s the argument here. Go ahead, I’m waiting.

First of all, you left off Tyus Jones… the MVP of the Summer League… and instead included a bunch of 2nd Year NBA players who of course are going to do well in Summer League playing against rookies, undrafted players, and D-Leaguers. And Kris Dunn barely even played. He was concussed for most of Summer League.
Really glad you included Thon Maker though, so many people were expecting him to fail.

While that might be true, those sentiments by the players are bred in part by the fact that their contracts aren’t guaranteed, and that unless you’re a star like Rodgers, your spot on a roster isn’t locked in.
