I love the pun at the end, and trust me I’m from DC so I try to have hope. With Pierce, it’s not so much replacing him but replacing what he brought to the table. No one has proven to have that big game, big play mentality. Wall may be the only one. I agree with your Ryan Anderson argument, but I’m not a huge believer in Porter, Oubre, or Beal really. Beal is more precautionary because of his injury situation. Also, Mahinmi is good, but I wanted someone who could create their own shot. I would like to see him and Beal creators. And Butler was in a reduced role in San Antonio. There defense has to get better too. In their grind-it-out system they gave up 6 or 7 less points per game I believe. Believe me, I would love to be proved wrong in this situation, but I just can’t see that happening right now.
